This is the context specific help for Save Page IE Shortcut Keys for function Enable Plug Ins (media player, flash, etc.). It will be show when Shift+F1 is pressed after using menu item Enable Plug Ins (media player, flash, etc.) on menu "GetEmAll and SavePage menu items".

'Enable Plug Ins (media player, flash, etc.)' - Program Help start.
| Summary: Enable Plug Ins option determines whether any plug-in components on the page will be allowed to run. Both this option and the Internet Explorer (IE) options to run the specific type of component must be turned on for plug ins to work. Applies only to pages grabbed or saved with KybIE GetEmAll. |
Check Enable Plug Ins to allow plug-ins within the page to run. The plug-ins will only run if this option is checked AND any options required by Internet Explorer to run plug-ins are turned on as well.
The term "Plug Ins" is used within KybIE to mean programs run as part of the web page such as Flash, Windows Media Player, etc.
When Enable plug-ins is *NOT* checked then all OBJECT and APPLET blocks within the page will be converted to comments.
NB Enable scripts and plug ins applies only to pages retrieved by KybIE GetEmAll. It will *NOT* have any effect on pages loaded by typing a URL / clicking on a link / Selecting from favourites etc.
Scripts and plug-ins are small programs that are contained within a web page and or downloaded by the page onto your computer. They will run on your computer.
They are potentially dangerous, much has been written about Internet Explorer (IE) security loop-holes caused by these IE features. Search on Google for more info.
Some pages from sites that you trust will need scripts and/or plug ins to work. It is therefore inconvenient to have the Internet Explorer (IE) options to disable scripts and/or plug-ins turned off. KybIE offers a safe and convenient alternative by allowing you to disable scripts / plug ins on most new pages viewed.
By retrieving and viewing pages with scripts and plug-ins disabled by KybIE you reduce the chance of any undesirable results that could occur. But you will still be able to use Internet Explorer for sites that you trust and which require scripts and plug ins without changing options.
NB Scripts and plug-ins will only run if the appropriate Internet Explorer options are selected. [Tools / Internet Options / Advanced tab. Various options are required. See Internet Explorer help for more info.]. KybIE does not make any changes to these options.
When the option is different at the time the page is displayed to that when the page was grabbed or saved, the new value will be used only if Apply changes to Show Images/Scripts/Plug Ins when display page is checked.
