'Tour Kyboma/K-free' - Program Help start.
Kyboma Find N Show is about finding and displaying the info you want quickly and easily.
Kyboma Example Extractor is about finding and displaying examples of HTML and scripts so it is easy to learn from the work of others.
Follow the steps in one of the tours.
There are three Tours:

First press Ctrl+N to fill the screen with the current window.
Then Press Tab to move between the three sections.
Stop at the Text section and Press Page down to start.

A. The mini quick tour.

First show these instructions in the help window:
Select Contents from the Help menu. Use Alt+H to drop the help menu then press C.
Then select the link for Tour K-free (Introduction section). Use tab to get to the next link in IE. Press Enter to go to that link.
In the K-free Help IE window, Press Alt+Tab to return to K-free.
In the K-free FileList window press Shift+F1 to show the help window.
The Key used for find files containing text is F4.
Press F4 now in the K-free window and enter a text value to search for (e.g. your name).
Select a disk to Look In.
Press Ctrl+S to check include Subdirectories.
Press F4 to begin the search.
Stop the search after some files have been found.
You will now see a list of files containing the value entered.
Extra columns have been added to the list with the byte number of the found value and the part of the text in which the value was found.
Now press F4 to find and show the first value found.
The first file will be shown in the text section.
It will be positioned to the first value found and that value will be selected.
Press F3 to show the next value in the same file.
When all values have been shown a message will be displayed.
Just press F3 again (ON THE MESSAGE) to start at the top or press F4 to Find and show the first value in the next file.
This is the most important feature of K-free Find n Show.
There are may other features including fast ways to format lists and windows and navigate around the system.
Finally try this quick run through some other useful keys:
To toggle the position of the text bar press T.
Now press tab to get to the file list.
Use the arrow keys to select the Found Text column.
Press Ctrl+E to show all the cell data. F3 will also work on this popup to find the text value. Esc will return to the fileList window.
Now press Ctrl+O to make the column a little wider.
Then press Ctrl+W to make the row wider and display 2-3 lines of text.
Now press I to increase the fontsize.
When you have a display that is good for the first found line, press Q to display the Right click menu and on the GREEN formats menu press Y to copy the row height to all rows.
Press Q again and then P to add separation lines to the list.

B. The short HTML Example Finder and Script Extractor tour.

Introduction:
K-free HTML Example Finder and Script Extractor [abbrev.: Example Extractor] has two main screens:
- The File List screen is the screen you see when you first start.
- The HTML Detail screen will analyse HTML files and show list of exaple tags found as well as lists and/or the full text of scripts, stylesheets comments etc.
- The File List screen is a full-featured file management program like Windows Explorer. Many features work in the same way as Windows Explorer to make it easy to use. Use tours A and B to investigate it's more unique features. Many of the extra features are also included with K-free Example Extractor.
Tour:
To find some HTML files and anylyse them for scripts, stylesheets etc. Press E now.
After the first 5 HTML files have been found (probably from your IE cache), you will see a list of any scripts in those files.
Press Alt+ Up/Down arrow keys to see the full text of each script.
Now double click an element name or select it and press the double click key [Z]. Press E on the pop up screen to show tags containing that element. You will also see a list of attributes.
Finally press Alt+Ctrl+U to show the first file in formatted columns containing tags N text. Press Alt+ Up/Down arrrow to move to the previous/next file.
Of course you will usually want to find files with a speciific element. Return now to the file list screen and press G to drop the list of elements.
Select an element and press enter to hide the dropdown. Press tab to the button Find More and Enter to start a search for that element. After(if) files are found they will be analysed and the Show HTML detail screen will be displayed including the list of tags found.
These are just a few of the options/possibilities available. Please read the help file or just try items from the menus to learn more.

C. The FindNShow all-round welcome tour.

The FindNShow all-round welcome tour has 5 parts:
1. Using keys to format the window / screen
2. Listing files
3. Use of Help
4. Browsing contents of files listed
5. Find files containing text
The mini quick tour will demonstrate basic keys and use of F3, F4 to find files containing text.
Page Up to start tour A.

1. Using keys to format the window / screen.

Press T again twice. You will toggle the text bar to the top position and back again.
Now press Ctrl+T to move the text bar down (make the text section larger).
Press ctrl+Alt+T to make the text section smaller again.
Press Tab to move between the three sections. Note the current section is always white, other sections are grey.
Stop at the File List section.
Move the cursor across the columns with the RightArrow key and note the current column is shown in GREEN.
Press Ctrl+O to increase the column width, press Alt+Ctrl+O to decrease it again.
Press F1 now to see a list of Keys.
Press A to see the alphabetic list of keys.
SUMMARY:

There are keys to format the screen and browse files as well as keys to find.
When more than one window is defined, you can use keys to tile windows and to cycle through windows.
There are also keys or menu options to save the two toggle positions.
Similar keys are defined to move the directory tree - file list bar (R).
And keys are available to change column widths (O) and row heights (W).

2. Listing files.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Select a directory in the directory tree.
Press enter on any directory to view it's subdirectories.
Press F5 to list the directory.
Now press Ctrl+S to select the option to include files in all subdirectories.
Press F5 again to refresh the list.
If the directory you selected has subdirectories, you will now have a much longer list.
Press the tab key until the filelist is the current section.
The current section is always white, other sections are grey.
To sort the list select any column and press X. Press X again to reverse the order.
Select the FileType column now and press X.
To add a second column to the sort sequence press Ctrl+X.
Select the Size column and press Ctrl+X. Files with the same filetype extension will then also be sorted by size.
Any file can be actioned with the default action for the file using double click or the double click key.
Select a txt file now by pressing the spacebar on the line in the list for the file.
Then press Z to do the default action for the file. Default actions have been copied from Windows and usually a txt file will be opened in notepad or another editor.
A file can also be opened using any application defined on the actions menu if that application accepts that type of file. Press Alt+A to show the actions menu and select one of the other editors [Menu item: Ctrl+F6 or Shift+F6] to open the file using that application.
SUMMARY:

In the file list when you use up/down/left/right arrow keys the current cell(s) will always be shown in green.
Any file can be actioned with the default action for the file using double click or the double click key.
Press Z to do the default action for the file. Default actions have been copied from Windows and usually a txt file will be opened in notepad or another editor.
A file can also be opened using any application defined on the actions menu if that application accepts that type of file.

3. Use of Help.

Select contents from the Help menu to see the main contents for K-free Help.
Help will be displayed using Internet Explorer if it (version 4 or above) is installed.
If IE is not installed, a basic text version of help will be shown.
Press Alt+Tab on the IE window containing K-free Help to return to the K-free window from which help was started.
Press Ctrl+F1 to display help for the last menu item/function.
Press Ctrl+O now to increase the column width of the (GREEN) selected column(s).
Then press Ctrl+F1 to see help for change column width function.
Press Alt+Tab to return here.
Context sensitive help will also be displayed for any popup message or parameters screen.
Press Alt+F to show the file menu and select Copy now.
Then Press F1 to see the Help for copy.
Press Esc on the Confirm Copy screen to abort the copy without changes.
The rest of this tour will demonstrate/use the text section that you are now reading.
To continue the tour now, select Welcome tour from the Contents menu of help now.

K-free has many features, often many different ways to achieve what you want to do.
Extensive help is supplied in html (web page) format.
Help can always be displayed for the last menu item/function used by pressing Ctrl+F1

To continue the tour now, select Welcome tour from the Contents menu of help now.

4. Browsing contents of files listed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The files displayed are very easily browsed in K-free using the Alt+UpArrow, DownArrow keys.
Press Alt+DownArrow to display the first file in the list. Press Alt+DownArrow again for the next file, etc.
Now press Alt+Ctrl+Shift+T to hide the text section.
Press Alt+DownArrow again to display the next file in the list. It will now be displayed in a popup window with the window positioned adjacent (but if possible not covering) the corresponding line in the file list. Press Alt+DownArrow again for the next file, etc.
SUMMARY:

The files displayed are very easily browsed in K-free using the Alt+UpArrow, DownArrow keys.
The contents of each file will be displayed. It may or may not be readable depending on the type of file. To open the file in anther application, use the Action menu.

5. Find files containing text.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Key used for find files is F4.
Press F4 now and enter a text value to search for (e.g. your name). Press Alt+K to select the disk/directories to search and select a disk. Press Ctrl+S to check include Subdirectories if not already checked. Press F4 to begin the search.
A progress box on the filelist will show how many files have been searched and how many files have been listed. Files containing the required text will be listed as well as all directories. Press Esc to stop the search.
Press Ctrl+Shift+S to uncheck the option to show directories. "Not Checked - Show Directories" will be shown in the list of results in the status bar.
Now press Shift+F4 to edit the find criteria and then F4 to start the search again with the same criteria.
Stop the search after some files have been found and listed or let it continue until all files have been checked.
You will now see a list of files containing the value entered. Extra columns have been added to the list with the byte number of the found value and the part of the text in which the value was found.

Now press F4 to find and show the first value found. The first file will be shown in the text section. It will be positioned to the first value found and that value will be selected.
Press F3 to show the next value in the same file. When all values have been shown a message will be displayed. Just press F3 again (ON THE MESSAGE) to start at the top or press F4 to Find and show the first value in the next file.

Press Shift+F4 to change the criteria. Look In can also be set to "Current List" and the criteria changed to refine the search. Current List will be the default if the search was completed without pressing Esc/Stop.
Press Complex criteria and enter any number of specific values that include the value to find which should be ignored. Press F4 to find the first file in the current list that satisfy the new criteria now.

As the name Find n Show suggests, the main purpose of K-free is to Find files and show their contents with a single keystroke.
The Key used for find files is F4.
