This is the context specific help for Find Files N Replace for function Select Dirs Files to list. It will be show when Shift+F1 is pressed after using menu item Select Dirs Files to list on menu "Select".

Select Directory/Files can be used either:
- To select a single directory (when Multiple Directories is not checked) or
- To select a list of directories and files (when Multiple Directories is not checked)
If Multiple Directories is checked, the select Directories/files screen will be expanded to include a List of files for selection and the current list to be used on the right.
Auto refresh file list will cause the file list to be refreshed whenever the selected directory is changed on the directory tree. This option is only available for a single directory list.
The file type and Include Subdirectories can also be changed here (on the left part of the screen).
This value is used always when a single directory is refreshed or searched.
When a list of directories and files is refreshed or searched, this value is the default value for any directory in the list for which a specific value is not specified.

To select a single directory.
Choose the directory required in the Select Directory section.
To expand any directory and show it's subdirectories, press + key on the number keypad or double_click or use double_click key (Z).
To select a list of directories and files.
Check Multiple Directories.
Select any directory and press A or double click or use double_click key (Z) to add it to the list on the right.
To add Individual files:
a. choose the directory containing the file in Select directory.
b. select the file(s) required.
c. press L or double click or use double_click key (Z) to add the file(s) to the list on the right.
The Add Dir and Add File button will achieve the same result.
If File or directory names are too long to be fully displayed in the current font, press R to increase the size of this section. To decrease the size, continue to press R until size is returned to normal. Using D to decrease the font size may also allow you to read the longer names.
A directory entry in the List of Directories and Files to List can also (optionally) specify:
- whether to Include Subdirectories
(neither) means use default value for Include Subdirectories- a list of file types to search in the directory
<+> means override default value and list/search all subdirectories of this directory
<-> means override default value and do NOT list/search subdirectories of this directory
To change specific type/subdirs option for directories in the list:
a. select the entries in the list on the right
b. select the type / Include Subdirs option below the list on the right
c. press Set Type/Set subdirs button
To add a directory to the list with a specific type/subdirs option:
a. select the directory in Select dir on the left part of the screen
b. select the type / Include Subdirs option below the list on the right
c. press Add with type & subdirs button
To remove specific type/subdirs option for directories in the list:
a. select the entries in the list on the right
b. press remove button to delete the entry from the list
c. select the directory again in Select dir on the left part of the screen
d. press add dir to re-add it to the list
If not specified, the default values shown on the left are used.
Several directories and files can be selected at the same time in the list of directories and files on the right by holding Ctrl or Shift down whilst entries are clicked with the mouse. Remove or Set buttons will then apply to all items selected.
Several files can be selected at the same time to be added from the list of files on the left by holding Ctrl or Shift down whilst entries are clicked with the mouse.
Press OK to save changes and continue. Other selections can then be changed before file list is refreshed.
Press Apply (when available) to save changes and refresh the file list.
Press Cancel to lose any changes made and return.
