'Default Action or Specific Action' - Program Help start.

The Action menu allows you to open any file with any application.

Action menu offers a much greater amount of flexibility than Explorer or other shell programs.
With a single F-key, files can be opened in other applications.
- Any file can be opened with any application regardless of its filetype.
- F-keys are available to open selected file(s) with a single keystroke.
- Action menu items can be defined easily by selecting from a list of Windows/K-free associations.
- Or use the wizard to automatically define a set of action menus corresponding to associations for a file type.

The Action menu is in four parts according to F-Key combinations that are available.

For convenience/ease of use, groups of applications can be defined on a group of F-keys with the same number.
This is the way that Action menus have been setup when you installed K-free. Use the Setup Wizard to do this again and change the final result.

E.g.
Define IE, Opera, Dreamweaver and Frontpage Express to use F12, Ctrl-F12, Shift-F12 and Shift-Ctrl-F12 respectively.
Define applications for viewing/changing pictures on F11 keys, etc.

The four parts are:
On the main action menu are Items 4-12 that are the external applications that can (mostly) be started using F-Keys without Shift/Ctl.
There are 3 other action submenus containing applications that will be started with Ctl+F-key, Shift+F-Key, Ctl+Shift+F-Key respectively.

E.g. To Access an application which is on Menu More Actions (Shift-Ctrl) at position 12 Shift+Ctrl+F12, hold both Shift and ctrl keys down and then press F12. The application will then be started once for each file selected.

Note that some F-Key combinations - e.g. F4,F5,F10 - are used elsewhere in K-free/Windows and therefore not available on the Action menu.
